A Matter of quality

If you are interested in graphics and fascinated by what’s new in multimedia, if you like graffiti, comics and everything that grabs the attention of people that don’t see the world in a conventional way, then Gold is the experience for you… an experience, some friends, a style, a mental condition.

This ambitious project – born in Florence in 2003 by melting carefully old school and new school – wants to rock and promote the street culture in Florence, a static, frozen city too concentrated in keeping its past to build any concrete future.

Gold is a life style, it’s the way you interact with the world around you which never stops evolving. The starting point is the roots of graphic design filtered by new media and digital technologies: everything starts from a sketch.

Promoting the personalities of every artist – Gold like the Medici – we can put back the product under the spotlight, concentrating on a “broad unicity” rather than the mass production.

Bringing out new talents, promoting events and eventually creating an original brand, Gold has grown up and in a short time has become a point of reference for a group of people that felt belonging to something… themselves!

In time Gold built a strong and solid international network of people from the streetart world; this web is giving strength and credibility to the project (global->local) and is giving chances of getting to know “the street” through “golden” eyes (local->global).

This networking process has already created something concrete: goldworld.it, the website of the community, the website which is the repository of our works and ideas, the website which is helping us to better understand ourselves: blogs, stories, articles, galleries, music, stories, inputs for a golden life.

But that’s not all – Gold promotes gigs and events in which people can freely express themselves, we want to find the synthesis out of any discussion, we want to put together and get to know new people that share our same interests, we want to understand where the world is going while is moving… and who knows? we might be driving at some point.

As you can see nothing is left to chance. Our brand is the result of an in-depth study in the imagery of the street culture which allowed us to diferenciate ourselves by creating a strong and precise brand identity.
